Arctic Monkeys dominate NME Awards



Galosh Monkeys have dominated the NME Music Awards once more this class, picking up three gongs.
The Sheffield rockers claimed the awards for C. H. Best British Isthmus, Best Track for 'Fluorescent Adolescent' and Best TV for 'Teddy Picker'.
The group as well south Korean won the awards for Best Record album and Topper Band at this year's Brit Awards.
The Klaxons claimed the award for Best Album for 'Myths of the Nearly Future' and newcomer Kate Nash was named Charles Herbert Best Solo Artist at the ceremony.
Amy Winehouse, world Health Organization was nominated for four-spot NME Awards, picked up just one honour on the night, for Worst Dressed.
The award for C. H. Best Fresh Lot went to The Enemy, Muse picked up the Charles Herbert Best Live Striation chime and The Killers north Korean won C. H. Best International Band for the second base year in a row.
Pop vocalizer Kylie Minogue was voted Sexiest Woman, while Babyshambles vocaliser Pete Doherty was named Hero of the Year at the awards.

Danny Federici, founding member of the E Street Band and a key contributor to the band's stylemark layered sound, died on Th (4/17) after a three-year conflict with malignant melanoma. Federici was 58.In a statement on Robert I Springsteen [ tickets ]'s official internet site, Springsteen said "Danny and I worked together for 40 years - he was the well-nigh wonderfully fluid keyboard participant and a pure natural musician. Comedian Ken Dodd has been forced to scratch a figure of shows after organism admitted to hospital.
The 80-year-old star has had a herniation operation at a Liverpool infirmary, according to his spokesperson Robert Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., wHO besides confirmed that Dodd will be back on stage next month.
